Jean Crankshaw

Freelance photographer Jean Crankshaw spent twenty years as a sheep farmer before studying photography at Mohawk College. In 2005, she first walked in her grandfather’s footsteps in the fields of France, visiting his grave and photographing everything she saw. Her photographs of Canadian World War I battlefields have been exhibited in Hamilton and Dundas, Ontario. More of her work can be found on her website, www.ameliasilver.com. Jean now lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
